Answer rates fall on rented numbers
Caller-ID apps label institutional numbers, and the people you most want to reach are the ones who screen them.
Calls go from a normal mobile number the customer already has saved.
SIM based, no cloud telephony
Customers stopped answering the rented number. They still answer yours.
Dialmio runs every business call on the SIM already in each phone, so customers see a familiar number and there is no per-minute bill.
Three days free, nothing locked, no card.
SIM based call management means the business calls are ordinary mobile calls placed and received through the SIM card in each caller phone, on the mobile plan that phone already has, while the software handles what happens around the call: the lead record, the outcome, the callback queue, the WhatsApp and the owner reports. Dialmio uses it because in India an unfamiliar virtual or landline-style number is increasingly ignored and flagged by caller-ID apps, whereas an ordinary mobile number is answered, saved and rung back, and because a fixed per-user software price with no per-minute telephony bill is what a team of two to fifty callers can actually budget for. Nothing is rented, ported or routed; a dual-SIM phone can be told which SIM is the business one. The limit is capacity: a SIM carries a single call at a time, which is why a big cold-calling floor belongs on a cloud dialer, as this page states plainly.

Why teams switch
Caller-ID apps label institutional numbers, and the people you most want to reach are the ones who screen them.
Calls go from a normal mobile number the customer already has saved.
Per-minute billing means a good month of calling is an expensive month, and the invoice arrives after the fact.
The software is a fixed price per user; the calls cost what the plan already costs.
A customer who rings the number back hits an IVR and gives up, or reaches whoever is free rather than who they spoke to.
Ringing the number back reaches the same caller, with the thread on screen.
How it works
Each caller keeps the SIM, the number and the plan they already have. Dialmio installs on the phone and becomes the dialer; there is no port-in, no provisioning, no telephony contract to sign, and setup for a team of five takes about half an hour.
Outgoing calls, incoming calls and the auto dialer all use the SIM. The customer sees the ordinary mobile number, the operator bills the plan as usual, and a dual-SIM handset can be set to always use the business SIM for work calls.
What syncs to the company account is the data: which lead, how long, what outcome, what note, what follow-up, what message. That is what the owner reads on the dashboard and what a replacement phone picks up. The audio never leaves the phone because it is never captured.
What you get
₹162 per user a month paid yearly, ₹249 paid quarterly, plus taxes. Both plans include every feature on this site.
From teams using Dialmio
We rented a cloud number for a year. People stopped answering because it looked like a call centre. Back on our own SIMs the pickup rate nearly doubled in a month.
It pauses for an incoming call and then carries on from the same place in the list. That one small thing is the reason the team kept using it after the first week.
Another vendor quoted me five times this per user and still wanted extra for WhatsApp. I kept waiting for the catch, and the catch turned out to be that nothing sits behind a higher plan.
These are the words of customers who agreed to be quoted this way, sent over WhatsApp or said on a call, shortened only where they ran long. No star total or review count is published, because there is no public rating page to point at yet. Last checked September 2026.

For teams below about fifty, yes. Nothing is rented and nothing is metered by the minute; you pay a flat per-user software price, and the calls sit on the mobile plan you already have. Cloud telephony wins on price only when the calling volume is so high that bulk minutes beat mobile plans, which is a large-floor situation.
No. Every call through Dialmio is logged with duration, outcome and note and reported per caller on the dashboard. What you do not get is IVR routing, or recording at the network that works on every handset whatever its model, which are cloud telephony features a small outbound team rarely needs.
Keep one. Many businesses advertise one number for incoming enquiries and let the team make outbound calls from their own SIMs. Dialmio logs both, and an incoming call on the advertised number can be filed as a lead and assigned like any other.
Yes, on supported Android phones. Dialmio attaches the recording to the call on the lead record. Android controls call audio, so recording depends on the handset model and Android version; make a test call on your team phones first. Cloud telephony records at the network instead, on every phone, which is the trade it makes for rented numbers and per-minute billing.
The records stay in the company account, so the leads, calls and notes are unaffected. Business SIMs owned by the company can be reissued; personal SIMs leave with the person, which is a reason many teams issue a business SIM per caller.
A contact centre of fifty or more seats working cold lists, where dialing several lines at once over virtual numbers really does yield more conversations an hour, and any business whose main need is steering inbound calls through a menu to whoever is free.
Yes: forty handsets, forty SIMs, the way most Indian teams that size already operate. Past about fifty seats on cold lists, a predictive cloud dialer can genuinely serve you better, and this page would rather say so than have you learn it after paying.
No. Your numbers stay exactly as they are. The app calls over the SIM already inside the phone, on that phone existing plan, and a dual-SIM handset can be told which SIM is for business.
Dialmio costs ₹162 per user each month on the yearly plan, or ₹249 on the three-month plan, taxes extra. Both billing periods include the whole product: call tracking, the auto dialer, the lead record, reminders, WhatsApp rules and the owner dashboard, with no cap on leads or calls. The first three days are free and no card is taken. Prices checked October 2026.
A user is somebody who signs in to the app to make calls. Five callers and one owner who only opens the dashboard means five users, since the owner login is part of the account and carries no charge.
No. Each call goes over the SIM in the handset, so the customer sees the same mobile number they have always known, and the call is charged on the mobile plan that phone is already on. There is nothing to rent, no IVR to configure and no telephony bill at the end of the month.
Usually, once WhatsApp and reporting are added up. Published Indian prices for this kind of tool sit anywhere from about 100 to 800 rupees per user per month, and a few charge WhatsApp separately or reserve reports for a dearer plan. The fair comparison is the yearly figure for your actual caller count, with everything you plan to use included.

Cloud telephony moves the phone line into a provider system: calls travel over the internet, numbers are rented, menus route callers, and the bill is a rental plus a per-minute charge. For a contact centre with inbound queues and dozens of agents on cold lists it is the right choice. For six people ringing their own enquiries from their own handsets, it is mostly a costly route to fewer answered calls.
Owners tend to underrate the effect on pickup. A virtual number range is shared plumbing, carrying banks and scam callers alike, and caller-ID apps score the whole range on how people respond to it. An ordinary mobile number belongs to one person, gets saved, and gets rung back. Teams that move from a rented line back to their own SIMs routinely report pickup rates rising by half or more within a month.
The cost effect is simpler: a fixed per-user software price is a budget line; a per-minute bill is a surprise. Dialmio charges per user per month with every feature included, and the calls are billed by the operator on the plan the phone already has, so a good month of calling does not produce a bad invoice.
The limit is real and worth stating plainly. One SIM makes one call at a time, so SIM based call management tops out somewhere around fifty callers on outbound work, and it offers no IVR for routing inbound calls through a menu. Below that size, working your own enquiries, the deciding factors are the number the customer sees and whether the outcome is filed in two taps, and on both of those the SIM based approach wins.
