Free call management software in India, compared honestly by Dialmio

Dialmio compares 6 tools on published price, calling method and the one job each does best, including where Dialmio is the wrong pick.

Three days free, nothing locked, no card.

Free call management software: what free actually gets you?

Free call management software in India generally means one of three things, and only one of them is genuinely free: a time-limited trial of the complete product, a permanently limited tier capped by contacts or daily calls, or a free app that earns its money by charging for the reporting you will eventually need. Here the free part is the dialer: Dialmio, RMDialer, NLCaller and Telecalling Software each keep a business dialer free forever, and Telecalling Software also gives away call analysis and automatic WhatsApp after a call. AutoDial CRM is free to start for one person, with heavy use on a subscription inside the app. No full team CRM is free; Dialmio, RMDialer, NLCaller, Telodial and Telecalling Software each give three days of the complete product with no card. The trial length matters less than what you test inside it: run genuine calls on a normal working morning rather than a prepared demonstration list. Prices and trial terms read on each vendor site on 15 October 2026.

In short

  • Trial length, and whether the trial is the complete product or a reduced version of it
  • Whether a card is required to start, which decides whether you have to remember to cancel
  • What a permanently free tier actually caps: contacts, daily calls, users or reporting
  • What happens to your data when the free period ends, since that is where the real lock-in sits
Who is writing: the makers of Dialmio, which appears on this list. Each competitor price is the figure on that vendor’s own website on the day we looked, and each entry names a job that tool does better than ours. Prices drift, so confirm before paying. Checked 15 October 2026.

How the list was judged

Which factors settle this choice?

  • Trial length, and whether the trial is the complete product or a reduced version of it.
  • Whether a card is required to start, which decides whether you have to remember to cancel.
  • What a permanently free tier actually caps: contacts, daily calls, users or reporting.
  • What happens to your data when the free period ends, since that is where the real lock-in sits.
  • Whether the free thing answers the question you had, or only the easy half of it.

The ranking

  1. 1

    Dialmio

    this is us

Strongest at: a dialer that stays free forever, with the CRM tried for three days and no card to cancel

The business dialer costs nothing and has no expiry date. The CRM trial is enough time to put a proper working morning through it, and short enough that no cancellation date has to be remembered. Nothing is locked, so the thing being tested is the product itself rather than a reduced edition of it.

₹162 per user per month with yearly billing, whole product included

  2. 2

    RMDialer

Strongest at: a free dialer with no account at all

The business dialer is free forever, needs no sign-in and never expires. List auto dialing, the CRM, reminders and team reports need the 3-day trial or a plan.

₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan (₹1,908 a year) or ₹249 on the 3-month plan, plus taxes

    Side by side with Dialmio
  3. 3

    Telecalling Software

Strongest at: the widest free tier: calling, analytics and automatic WhatsApp after a call, free forever

No card, no trial clock and no user limit on the free part. What free does not include is the team system: lead records, handing leads between callers, follow-ups that ring and the manager dashboard.

₹161 per user per month on the yearly plan (₹1,932 a year) or ₹251 on the 3-month plan, plus GST

  4. 4

    NLCaller

Strongest at: a free dialer that already sends WhatsApp after every call

The Basic Dialer is free forever and includes calling, WhatsApp after every call and call analytics on the phone. The 3-day trial opens every paid feature with no payment details.

₹162 per user per month on the yearly plan (₹1,944 a year) or ₹254 on the 3-month plan, plus GST

  5. 5

    AutoDial CRM

Strongest at: one person who wants to start calling a list today without paying

Install, import a sheet and begin calling; heavy daily use moves to a subscription inside the app. Everything stays on the phone, so there is no team view to grow into.

Free to start; heavy daily use is a subscription inside the app

  6. 6

    Telodial

Strongest at: a team that would rather test the full paid product than live inside a free tier

No free tier: three days of every feature with no card, then one plan. On a list about free options it earns a place because a trial and a free tier answer different questions: one shows whether the habit suits you, the other whether the whole product survives your actual list.

₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan (₹1,908 a year) or ₹249 on the 3-month plan, plus taxes

What are the three meanings of free, and which one are you being offered?

A time-limited trial of the whole product is the most honest kind, because what you test is what you would buy. A permanently free tier is more attractive in an advertisement and more disappointing in use, since the caps are usually placed exactly where a growing team meets them: contacts stored, calls per day, or the reports that make the tool worth having. The third kind is an app that is free to install and charges for the part an owner actually wanted.

None of that makes free tiers dishonest. It makes them a different product from the paid one, and the mistake is planning a team around a tier you will outgrow in the second month, then discovering that the price above it was never the point of comparison you ran.

What should you actually test in the days you have?

Put the trial on a normal working morning with real numbers, not a prepared list. Watch what a caller does in the two seconds after a call ends, because that single behaviour determines whether every report you will ever read is real or reconstructed. Ring one of your own numbers from outside so you can see what an incoming call looks like, and deliberately miss one to see where it goes.

Then check the boring things: whether the outcome sheet works with mobile data off, whether an imported list keeps its source tag, and whether the owner view shows anything you could act on before the end of the day. Three days is enough for all of that. Three weeks of admiring feature lists is not.

In fairness

When is Dialmio the wrong pick?

Three cases in which another tool on this list, or one not on it, will do the job better.

  • A contact centre of fifty or more seats working cold lists, where dialing several lines at once over virtual numbers really does yield more conversations an hour than one SIM per person.
  • A business whose main need is inbound routing: an advertised number with an IVR menu, queues and hold music is cloud telephony work, and Dialmio does not do it.
  • A team whose callers carry iPhones. Dialmio replaces the phone dialer, which only Android allows, so there is no iPhone app.

From teams using Dialmio

What do owners who weighed the same options say?

Two of my callers only work the season. Putting them on for a quarter and taking them off again took one WhatsApp message, no paperwork.
Latika S.Owner, tour operator, JaipurJul 2026
My Marathi callers see Marathi and my Hindi callers see Hindi. Nobody is mentally translating the same button two hundred times a day.

Before this, a call that ended at 4 pm was a memory by 6 pm and a guess by Monday. Now the outcome is filed while the customer is still hanging up.

Questions

What do buyers ask before shortlisting?

Is there any genuinely free call management software?

Free forever with a real team on it, no. A dialer can be free forever, as the Dialmio dialer is, but the team CRM is the paid part everywhere. Several products have free tiers or free starts, and every serious one has a trial. The honest framing is that this category costs somewhere between one hundred and eight hundred rupees per caller per month, and the free options are ways of trying before you reach that.

Which trial is longest?

Among the apps here the trials are the same length: three days of the complete product with no card, at Dialmio, RMDialer, NLCaller, Telodial and Telecalling Software. Longer is not automatically better: a long trial of a product nobody configured tells you less than a short one used on a real morning.

Do I need a card to start a trial?

Not for Dialmio, and not for RMDialer, NLCaller, Telodial or Telecalling Software according to their published terms. Where a card is required, put the cancellation date in your calendar the same day you sign up, because the commonest way people pay for software they rejected is forgetting.

What happens to my leads when a trial ends?

With Dialmio the account keeps everything and calling pauses until a plan starts, so nothing is deleted for not paying. Other vendors differ, and it is a fair question to ask before you import a list you care about.

Can I run a team on a free tier permanently?

You can start there, and most teams meet a cap within a month or two, usually on contacts or daily calls. Plan for the paid price rather than the free one when deciding whether the category is affordable at your headcount.

Is a free dialer enough for one person?

Frequently it is. Somebody working alone from a short list, with a decent memory, has no use for a CRM, and a free dialer clears away the one piece of friction they genuinely feel. What changes the sum is the second and third caller, because information then starts being lost between people rather than inside a single head.

Is Dialmio cheaper than other call management software in India?

Usually, once WhatsApp and reporting are added up. Published Indian prices for this kind of tool sit anywhere from about 100 to 800 rupees per user per month, and a few charge WhatsApp separately or reserve reports for a dearer plan. The fair comparison is the yearly figure for your actual caller count, with everything you plan to use included.

What is Dialmio?

Dialmio is a call management CRM: an Android app that turns each call a salesperson makes, picks up or misses into a lead record carrying an outcome, a note and a follow-up date, paired with a web dashboard where the owner watches the whole team as the day runs. Calls travel over the SIM inside each phone.

What counts as a user in Dialmio?

A user is somebody who signs in to the app to make calls. Five callers and one owner who only opens the dashboard means five users, since the owner login is part of the account and carries no charge.

Are there per-call or per-lead charges?

None. The per-user monthly subscription is the entire software cost. Your mobile operator bills the calls as it always has, and your WhatsApp API provider bills the messages it sends; Dialmio takes no cut of either.

What happens to my data when the subscription ends?

Nothing is erased over a lapsed payment. Every lead, call and note stays in the account, and only the calling features pause until a plan is active again, so renewing late costs no history.

What a free tier costs in something other than money

Updated 19 July 2026

What free tiers hand over, and what they hold back

Free tiers across this whole category withhold the same thing, and it is not the dialing. It is everything that only matters once there is more than one person.

What free tiers hand over, and what they hold back
Capability On a typical free tier Why it sits behind the payment
Working a list Yes, usually capped per day It is the hook, and it works fine for one person
A record with your own stages Sometimes, limited Cheap to give, and it keeps you inside the tool
Splitting work between callers Rarely It only matters with a team, which is the moment you pay
Anything the owner can read Rarely One caller has no need of a report about themselves
Getting your data back out Check before you rely on it The one to verify before building a habit

Free tier caps move more often than paid prices anywhere in this market. The figures beside the list carry their reading date.

When free is right and when it turns expensive

One caller, a short list, nothing to spend.

Free, with no hesitation. There is no second person to coordinate with, so nothing the paid tiers add applies yet. Anybody selling you a team product at that point is selling you screens.

Two or three people sharing one list.

The free tier is now charging you in time. Somebody divides the list each morning and settles it when two callers reach the same customer. On three people that habit runs near an hour a day, which outprices the software for the whole team.

The owner wants the day without asking for it.

Pay, at whichever vendor. Reporting is the capability free tiers hold back most consistently, and an evening report written by the people it measures was never evidence anyway.

What people search about free options

Is there genuinely free call management software for a team?

Not in any meaningful sense. There are good free tools for one person, and there are free tiers of team products with the team parts removed. Once two people share a list you need division of work, permissions and a view for whoever is answerable, and those are paid features at every vendor here.

What is the catch with a free tier?

Usually a cap on contacts, a cap on calls per day, or both, plus no coordination between users. Those are honest limits rather than tricks. The one worth checking is never advertised: whether you can export your own data if you leave.

When does paying become the cheaper option?

The moment coordination work turns up, and that happens around your second or third hire rather than your tenth. Price the hour a day somebody loses dividing lists and assembling an evening report, at any wage you would actually pay, then set it beside a month of seats.

Does Dialmio have a free plan?

No. Three days free with the whole product open and no card, then the published per-user rate. If permanently free is the requirement rather than the starting point, entries on the list above serve that better than we do and we would rather point at them.

Worth quoting

  • No free tier in this category includes work division, permissions or owner reporting.
  • Free tiers suit one caller with a short list, which is precisely the case with no coordination cost.
  • Paying usually becomes cheaper than staying free at the second or third caller.
  • On a three-person team, dividing lists and assembling reports by hand costs roughly an hour a day.
  • Confirm you can export your own data before building a habit on any free tier.

How this comparison was made

  • Free tier limits and paid entry rates were read from each vendor’s own pages on the date printed beside the list.
  • The list deliberately includes tools that cost nothing and beat ours outright for a single caller.

What this page does not claim

  • We make Dialmio and offer no free tier, which is worth holding in mind while reading a page about the limits of free tiers.
  • Caps on free plans are the fastest-moving numbers here. Confirm the current ones with the vendor.
